French Best Wine Merchant Competition
Created in 2014 by the Syndicat des Cavistes Professionnels (SCP), the French Best Wine Merchant Competition will be organized for its next three editions (2026, 2028 and 2030) by Cavistes & Co magazine.
For several years now, we have been very proud to be the competition’s sole partner in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
This prestigious event celebrates the excellence and expertise of wine merchants, true ambassadors for wine. It brings together passionate professionals and provides a valuable platform to showcase the profession to the media and the general public.
Whether directly or through agents, wine merchants are essential ambassadors for Calmel & Joseph. They share our story, explain the differences between our terroirs and help guide consumers in their choices. Supporting their competition not only strengthens our relationship of trust, but also helps promote wine culture and the diversity of the Languedoc-Roussillon appellations. Our identity is built around a demanding selection of individual vineyard plots, precise blending and long-term partnerships. Our collaboration with the competition is therefore a natural and highly coherent one.
The final rounds will take place on October 25 and 26 at Domaine Val Joanis in Pertuis, where, of course, we will be there to support the event.
