Pays d'Oc IGP - German bloggers visit The Domaine - 02/2023

A group of German bloggers came to see us as part of a press trip organised by @Pays d’Oc. We wanted to give them a unique experience that would involve wine tasting combined with some fun, so they visited the domaine and our gites, enjoyed a tasting of our wines, visited our vineyards on electric scooters and then enjoyed a meal where we paired the courses with our wines. They’ve written up their visit in the articles below. Many thanks to @desbelleschoses @coucoubonheur @foodistas_food_and_sistas, we hope to see you again soon!

Notes Jancis Robinson - 01/2023

UK wine writer Tamlyn Currin has included more than a dozen of our wines in her latest Languedoc reviews for, and we're delighted that our AOP Corbières L'Aventure 2020 scored 17 points: “Ripe, rounded red fruit that has an attractively stemmy lick of woodsy green and mushrooms and bark. Mouth-watering freshness. Fairly long. Great purity and quiet elegance. I’m really impressed with this! It’s been made with a careful, respectful hand and tastes of the grapes and the soil rather than winemaking. One of the best C&J reds this year!” Read her reviews here (subscribers only): . From the latest round of Languedoc wine reviews by Tamlyn Currin ( comes this, for our Ams Tram Gram Les Sacrés Rebus 2020: “The first sniff of this wine took me to a winery full of old concrete vats quietly bubbling with red wine in the making. It's stems and leaves, concrete and wet-mopped floors, cool brick walls and primary, raw, un-messed-with red fruit. This is generous, honest, full of pure Languedoc fruit and plump, easy tannins. Unpretentiously lovely. Bravo” - 16/20. Read her reviews here (subscribers only): . Available in the UK via Daniel Lambert Wines Ltd.

Article The Buyer / Marquise 2019 - 11/2022

Heads up, UK on-trade folks! The Buyer has published a list of 20 Pays d’Oc wines that would work well in the on-trade, and we’re pleased to report that from the 100 samples submitted, La Marquise 2019 made the cut. An organic Roussanne/Grenache Gris blend from our vines in the Corbières, writer Peter Dean describes it as “excellently judged, well-made wine with a nice, wet stone finish.” Trade buyers who’d like to order some should contact our importer Daniel Lambert.
