Small is Beautifull - Dominic Rippon for France Magazine - 08/2020
So, back to work and a great start to the week already with this article about Calmel & Joseph in the September issue of France magazine, thanks to Languedoc-based wine writer Dominic Rippon who came to visit us a few months ago. Small is beautiful? We'd have to agree with that 🙂

"Calmel & Joseph | Top producer from Languedoc" - winebusiness.nl - 07/2020
Translated from dutch : "The first acquaintance with Calmel & Joseph was a striking Picpoul de Pinet. This one and only Languedoc white appellation is the epitome of often somewhat boring wines, but Calmel & Joseph's Picpoul was fresh, aromatic and of great length."
La Madone 2017 - Wine Advocate - 07/2020

A la recherche du grand Languedoc... - La revue du vin de France - 11/2019
This month, Revue du Vin de France publishes in an article, by Pierre Citerne, about the tasting that we organized on April 15 at the Montirat estate.
We proposed a blind tasting of great wines of Languedoc and Roussillon, with the presence of a bailiff.
A dozen tasters were present. The results offered an "unexpected prize list", in which we proudly find our Madone in second place.
We recommend you to read this article without any concession which, in addition to the winners of this tasting, offers a very fair vision of the region.

Calmel & Joseph is cited as a must address by Marieke'T Hart. She highlights our organic vines and manual sales but also the activities of the area (horseback riding, electric scooters, electric bikes ...) and wine tourism in our upscale lodgings in the heart of the vineyard (with heated pool and sauna).
